Local Legends Dish It Out for a Cause:
Amherstburg's Food & Fellowship Celebrity Cookbook Launches with Heart
The Amherstburg Mission is proud to announce the official launch of the Food and Fellowship Celebrity Cookbook at GL Heritage Brewing Company on September 10, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
This heartfelt event brings together beloved community figures, cherished recipes,
and hometown pride in one unforgettable evening. The cookbook showcases local
contributors' most treasured dishes alongside personal stories of faith, family, and food.
Cookbooks will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the
Amherstburg Mission’s vital work in our community. The event is open to the public.
Location: GL Heritage Brewing Company, 8728 Howard Ave, Amherstburg, ON
Time: Wednesday, Sept. 10 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS
The Amherstburg Food and Fellowship Mission provides critical community services
including food programs, outreach, and social support to those in need across the
Windsor-Essex region.
OurRecipeTree.com is a collaborative digital recipe platform where families and
communities preserve beloved recipes and food memories. The site allows users to
build digital Recipe Collections, share stories, and print custom cookbooks. The
platform was originally created by Windsor native Annie Hall as a legacy project for
her sons.
